| Success in the knowledge economy comes to those
who know themselves - their strengths, their values,
and how they best perform. - Peter F. Drucker (Harvard Business Review, March-April, 1999) You intuitively know there is more to figuring out a career direction and job, than taking a few interest assessments, preference questionnaires or achievement tests. You've undoubtedly gotten advice from counselors, friends, and even mentors. Maybe you've tried several of the many self-help books written on this topic. These approaches may provide valuable information, but each falls short. They all give outside-in information, from someone else's point of view. What's missing is a process to effectively use all your self-knowledge. What's missing is a process to creatively and effectively integrate it all into a personal vision that will take you meaningfully into the future. I am inviting you to a FREE "Managing Your Career In The 21st Century" seminar (schedule below). Much dissatisfaction with job, career and educational choices is due to living a life that is out of balance. The seminar will provide you with some insights and practical suggestions to help you begin to make mid-course corrections with purpose and direction. Sample items from The Highlands Ability Battery will be used during this seminar. This seminar is FREE but you must register since seating is limited to 6 participants. So pick a date, bring a friend and join me on one of these evenings. Register by e-mailing: almerc@mindspring.com Choose One: (7 pm-8:30 pm)
